PING
PING is an American athletic gear fabricating organization situated in Phoenix, Arizona. Ping was established by Karsten Solheim, following a profession as an architect at the General Electric organization. In 1959, he began making putters in his carport in Redwood City, California. In 1967, he left his position at General Electric to build up the Ping Golf Clubs organization. During a White House meeting between US President Donald Trump and Norwegian Prime clergyman Erna Solberg on January 10, 2018, Solberg gave Trump a Ping "Bergen" Putter as a blessing as an image of the nearby ties among Norway and the United States, and the historical backdrop of Norwegian movement to the US. Karsten Solheim, Ping's author, was initially from Austrheim, outside Bergen, Norway.
